I almost cried… Really, she sung Bachelorette and the music, the place, th music, her voice… I can only say it was totally worth it.

I took a plane to Switzerland and went to Paleo Festival at Nyon, specifically to be in her concert and LIVE her music live.

I ADORE HER. She is art.

I’d like to thank Chris, my suisse friend who took me there. Thanks Chris! Thaks Björk!

I saw her in San Francisco a few years back, outdoors overlooking the Bay Bridge. Her show was like none other I have ever seen, in that the audience was so respectful and reserved(more likely in awe) during her performance. It was so quiet in fact that people would call things out to her and she would be able to hear them and respond. Bjork herself was brilliant- beautiful vocals and the acoustics were clear. She even had fireworks! All in all it was a fantastic show and I highly reccomend seeing her live.

    I have 2 tickets for September 17!  — 1 year ago

I never thought it would happen, but I am going to have the honor of watching Bjork perform in person. We are 17 rows back in the orchestral section, on the 17th day of September, and 17 is my lucky #. It is just too much!

Magnifique! She defies standard musicianship gravity. An art form unto her own.

And there has been quite a bit of talk lately within the musician circles I keep in touch with about this new instrument called the Reactable and I suddenly realized that was that odd thing they kept showing the DJ using on the big screen. It looked like something that an arch villian would use in a James Bond movie to destroy the world. So go ahead and do a youtube search and you can see what the future of instrumentation and electronica looks/sounds like. It made its international concert debut with Bjork’s tour; not surprising, she always is on the cutting edge. Too bad Antony did not tour with her.
