How I did it: I got an inheritence from my father, not nearly as much as it should have been. but it was enough to pay my debts and get some nice stuff. Like my Wii. Which is the most played game system I've ever had around. We have it on almost every day. it has every kind of game you'd ever want and the internet, the news, the weather, and then some. The controls make the system, the games themselves are great, but after playing the Wii the idea… Read how I did it…

How I did it: All of my friends had a Wii. I kept begging my parents for one and finally, in 2008. My wish came true. We got the money to finally buy a Wii! I was so happy and I couldn't wait until I would be able to play with my friends! Read how I did it…

It came in a tidy little package yesterday morning & I could hardly contain myself all day. I can’t believe how cute & compact these things are these days… I remember my first video game, which was a giant dinosour – I can’t remember what it was called, but it was like a big keyboard with two joysticks.
Anyways, I am totally blown away at the technology of this thing. The sports are amazingly real that get you up out of your seat & getting active. My favorite is the boxing & I kicked my husband’s butt :) I can see how this can be used as more of a workout tool & can’t wait to get the wii fit game (been sold out everywhere).
I couldn’t believe my husband was so into this thing… I am usually the techno fan in this household, but he loved creating his mii and we had fun making them look suspiciously like ourselves – lol!
It took me a while, but I think I finally have it hooked up to the internet & can eventually play sports with my friends!!!!!! This is so exciting because I belong to the Spark People network & have a group of friends whom I work out (virtually) with. This will be a blast bowling & playing golf with friends hundreds of miles away!
As LauralyBeautiful (my wife) mentioned we got a wii. And I did, literally, have to track it down. I went to Wal-Mart to get Super Mario Galaxy (but we knew they didn’t have any systems) so I went to a local drugstore where I found my sister-in-law’s DS Lite when they were hard to find and they had JUST sold their only one. So then I went to another local drugstore and they didn’t even carry them. So it was across town to another location of the first drugstore and they didn’t have any because their shipment had accidentally gone to someone else.
Since I was close to the mall I figured I’d try there. Stamples: Nothing; Sears: Zip, The Source: The guy said they completely sold out their last shipment before they even got them out on display!
My last hope was a department store in the mall that to be honest, I don’t really care for but I was bound and determined I wasn’t going home until I’d exhausted ALL my options. So I went in and low and behold there are two sitting in the case.
As I’m checking out I mentioned to the guy the trouble I’d had and he told me I wasn’t the first to tell him that. Then he casually mentions that they have 9 cases of the system still in the back. That’s 45 consoles! In Stock! And they’re the only place that has them. lol
But looking back, I have to admit that it was well worth the trouble! :)

Like, 2 years? They are still hard to come by! My husband tracked one down, and we’re now very happy to have joined the ranks of Wii owners.
Mario Galaxy is awesome! I’m disapointed that my Mii looks NOTHING like me, but Tommy’s looks actually very similar to him!
We gave my little brother and sister our gamecube, so EVERYBODY is happy!

I’ve been checking Costco.com & the local Costco daily, as they have been completely sold out of the wii. Today as I checked, the website… da ta da… it was there!!!
I was bummed that they are still sold out of the wii fit, but I’ll take what I can get. So in 7-10 days we’ll be playin our miis :)

After seeing and playing the Nintendo Wii on the E3 in 2006, I craved for one. Ever since I was little, my mom would buy every new Nintendo. But I’m an adult now. And I live on my own. So I had to get one myself. Now my boyfriend and I live together and got a Wii for our birthdays. And I use it quite often. My collection of Nintendo’s is complete again ^^“
I wasn’t supposed to get one until after graduation, but I couldn’t pass it up while in Target. I’ve been searching for one for so long that I couldn’t wait.
