I can’t believe she beat me. I want to train hard all year and get the gold next year inshallah. I have martial arts class four days a week and do yoga 3 days a week and pilates once. I can add swimming or maybe just do the elliptical every day. And i never plan my meals, I bet if I eat with the goal of improving my fitness it can help.I didn’t even drink water the day of the tournament that was dumb and I didn’t stretch out before the match. How do people get in top shape? Do i have to run like Rocky because I really don’t like to run. I’m really mad at myself for losing. 15 months ago

I’m still doing this. I’m fitter even than I was a year ago.
If you’ve got the fitness and the motivation, then the hardest thing about doing this is keeping the supply of clean sports gear going. But I’m on top of that now. 3 years ago

Well, have been – I’m just in the middle of relocation, and am moving into a new house about 1000 miles from where the old one was, so no training for a week or so.
Over the summer I had a Kesäkorrti – a summer card for the local swimming pool. I gave up on the gym for about two months and have been swimming every day. The muscles in my forearms and legs are noticably smaller, but the muscles on my shoulders (espeically the ones on my back, slightly down from the others) are like iron, and I can swim really, really well now. :D 4 years ago

I’m currently training four times a week minimum, and I’m fitter than I’ve ever been.
I don’t think that training any harder is wise: you gotta rest some, but I have to get more out of each training session, so for that I am studying. 4 years ago

During the term-holidays, I went to the Gym each second day and if I didn`t go, I trained at home…!!!
It was really worth doing, even I still not look like the Spartans in 300…
But I will look like them!!! ^^
Just a matter of training and time… 4 years ago

For several reasons, one I can’t have stuff in my 43things that will go on indefinitely, two I have set up a lifestyle where I do workout and train and push myself daily/weekly/monthly with goals. Even in wintertime when supposedly I would be stagnant. 5 years ago

I have to focus a whole lot on strength training, esspecially upper body strength. So I am:
1 hour of lifting three times a week with one day rest periods. I generally do three sets, 1 is 20 reps at the heavyiest weight I can handle, then step up the stack and do 10 reps of that weight. Then I repeat that weight for 10 reps, then step down 10 reps at a time, this works my muscles to failure, which is supposed to build muscle fast.
3 miles 3 times a week at 8 minute miles.
2 days of interval stair training with the weight vest (50lbs) this is the most difficult for me, but most important for my CPAT training. 5 years ago

Is it funny or offensive that my male boss says that the roadie cases are too heavy for him to lift and has me lift them for him? Of course with no problem! 5 years ago

So I registered for the FDNY firefighter exam. This is a great opportunity (though the prospect of living in NYC for the rest of my life doesn’t really appeal to me) The training is going to be harder than anything I have ever done. 5 years ago

I didn’t even do it while training – did it in my backyard. 5 years ago

I need to train harder to get better at alot of things. Once I get stronger; once I get more agile; once I get more power; I can do anything.
Simply said…
