My mom loaned me $7,000 to buy our first house.
If I continue my payments of $600 a month I should finish by November 2009.

I am in £29,000 of debt and totally miserable. I’m paying 100’s a month, but it just covers the interest. It will take all of my young life to repay :-(

I have a hard time talking about this one.
I lost a good paying job when the telecom industry crashed 8 years ago. I had worked my way up for 20 years. The problem with becoming a niche expert is that the skills are not transferable.
And who will hire a former director as an admin? Even a customer service rep? I tried selling cars, and kirbys. I cleaned houses with my sister (she has a cleaning business.) I finally landed a retail job so we can at least eat – and set out to make a living on the internet – helping people manage their life chaos. Wish me luck!
