How I did it: I spent the past month working down from about 8 cigarettes per day to 1. The thing that helped me the most was my friends. I was lucky enough to have friends and family to call me on the "haven't you already had one today" factor. My method: wait as long as you possibly can every day before you're about to go crazy. THEN have your first one. Soon enough, that will get later and later, until it'll be five or six by the time you have one. … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I left the cigarrets at home and my cash, so I couldnt buy or smoke during or after work. Im just smoking on fridays socially. Dont trust yourself on this one. Just obligate yourself to avoid the cigarrets. Work, kids and my sisters' death was my inspiration. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I think I was afraid to commit to quitting, but I made other lifestyle changes and smoking just naturally fell out of my life. My advice - you cannot just quit smoking without being willing to examine and change other aspects of yourself. Read how I did it…

I enjoy smoking I really do. After being in Australia for 6 weeks and not really being able to, I’ve concluded that I need to do less of it. I feel that I had a sort of mental clarity and was just generally more attached to my own feelings and thoughts.
It usually happens at night when I’m with friends. I’m not looking to change my social relationships or anything. But doing less so as to not smoke till I’m blue in the face would probably be good for me.
On a pack a day at the moment, but frankly, I can’t really afford to smoke anymore. I just don’t know how i could possibly function without them! Its pretty shameful. They’re like best friends when there’s nothing to do! Ideally I’d like to cut down to 5 a day
i need to. i adore smoking, as odd as it sounds. it just relaxes me and i really enjoy it. but it’s breaking me, and i know how awful it is for my health. the thing i’m most concerned about is gaining weight with it… i smoke a little less than a pack a day (usually about 14 or 15 per day), sometimes more, especially if i’m drinking.
I absolutely LOVE smoking. I do, and I don’t want to quit. However, I have a really bad case of ashtma and it may even kill me if I don’t cut my ciggies. So, from 1 pack a day I’m trying to smoke up to 5 cigs (though I allow myself to smoke more when I’m at the bar drinking, or when I’m rehearsing). It’s also really bad for my voice, and we’ve been noticing the improvements when we play. If I can keep this up for more than one month, I will consider the goal done.
Waking up about an hour ago only to realise that i had misplaced my lighter and that we no longer keep matches in my house i had to spark my cigarette off the cooker..
my goal is to wait 1h30min at least between each cigarrete
will start tomorrow
now I’ve been smoking a pack everyday for two years, and easily two when Im out drinking(altho I always get to share with people in this situation)
I started with this approach: there must be at least two hours between cigarettes.
Today I’ve smoked 3 cigarettes (It’s 3pm). Normally I would’ve smoked 5 or 6, so, It’s good.
I smoke plenty and I really enjoy it. But from now on I plan on smoke only in moments when I’m not doing anything else. So it’s fine to make a break at work to have a good cup of coffee and a smoke, but not while driving, reading, etc.
I should be smoking less if I keep on that plan.
i would smoke around 10 aday, its such a habbit at work or college just to get out for some fresh air and have a quick break.
And after meals theres nothing nicer than having a smoke.
I really wana try and quit but its so hard to get the will power and motivation.
Maybe i should make a bet or something to try and motivate me lol
