I already have my scuba license – I actually got it over a year ago! Now I just need to find time (and money) to go and use it! My certification was in a murky lake – so any place with a pretty scenery would be great, but I’d especially love to go to australia!
How to scuba dive in the great barrier reef
How I did it: 3d/2n live aboard from cairns to get my PADI AOW. Gt Barrier reef wasn't that amazing... but when we went further down.. the dives just got better and better.
Went to Ayr for the Yongala and SW Rocks for Fish Rock Cave... both amaaazing dives!
Lessons & tips: Just be relaxed and chill...
Resources: Deep Sea Divers Den, Tour operators, blind luck

:D I scuba dived for the first time in Mauritius last week, and got my CMAS 1* Soooo happy! If I ever visit Australia I will DEFINATELY go diving there :)
i already have my certification so i’m half way there…hopefully i’ll get to go next summer through a volunteer/adventure program. im so excited!
This is a distant goal as I don’t even have my SCUBA certification yet. Plus I have to have the money to get to Australia. Obviously this won’t be happening until after I graduate from college…but maybe I can find a job in Australia…I’m a Marine Biology major after all :)
