How to go to Colombia

How I did it: I applied through the British Council to teach English, in December. I had to go through an interview and then I was allocated my uni and city. I bought my ticket with STA and made sure I had good travel insurance. Lessons & tips: It may take a while to organise, but I'm sure you can just turn up as well! Be Patient!! People spoke more English than I was led to believe, and of course all very friendly and helpful.

English was nonexistent but I know a lot of Spanish so I was fine. I spent 3 nights there on my way to Peru.
I can not stress how helpful and nice everyone was!

I can’t believe it! after 5 years I finally went back to Colombia. LOVE my country with all my heart, I cried a river yesterday when I was saying goodbye to everyone. I will go back soon for another week. :)

So, after 5 years looks like I will complete this goal. :) Tickets were bought and I will be traveling 9/14/07 for 10 incredible days!! Can HARDLY wait !!!

along side all the troubles in colombia right now it is a beautiful country. i havent seen my family in years and i plan on going again next year for a month. im very excited and it is completly worth doing
