All my life, and maybe for most other young adult’s lives, you have been convinced that there is a higher power. Just because. As many people have told me “He just is”. I have trouble accepting this. Nothing in this world “Just is”. Every action has a reaction, things don’t just pop out of thin air. That’s not reality. So why should I be convinced that some magical being created all of this just because?
I would like to believe in a higher power, but with all of the pain, suffering, and death that goes on in the world, I can’t bring myself to believe in anything but those three things.
I would like to find God, really find God, so I can understand the world around me a little better. 4 months ago
