I have talked with a friend of mine who is a vegetarian. I started asking her questions the other day about how she decided to change her food habits. I lost a lot of weight through rny gastric bypass and year and a half ago. I just want to make sure that I don’t make the same mistakes that led me to that decision again. I have made some small errors lately and I don’t want to turn them into major mistakes. I think this type of lifestyle would work for me. I need the protein from eggs and milk and I love fish, vegetables and fruit. I don’t want to supplement all of my calcium and other vitamins with pills, I take enough of them already. I just want to keep on the right path that I started a year and a half ago. 1 week ago

loving each dayNot 100%, but that suits me

I don’t think I can, or want to become a full-time pesco-vegetarian anymore. I’ve realised it just doesn’t suit me, or my life. However, I do basically eat only vegetarian and fish dishes when I am cooking for myself/choosing for myself, which is most of the time. So I’m pesco-vegetarian maybe 80-90% of all meals. And I think that’s pretty decent :) 1 week ago

maga2010one year

I stopped eating read meat one year from now. I first tried it for one month and I felt better so I kept going. Later on I decided to stop eating chicken and the rest of the meats – except fish- of course. Overall I feel better but I haven’t lost weight at all, which was one of my main goals. I am not sure I will be a pesco-vegetarian for the rest of my life but for the time being I am a pesco-vegeterian.
I am actually disgusted only thinking about eating most of the red meats and chicken but sometimes I crave a hamburger… so far, I have not eaten a hamburger in over a year. 8 months ago
