I live in the country and it would be such a shame to waste that wonderful nature around me.
How to be one with nature
How I did it: Having more time with nature is a freeing experience.. During the weekend, I take long walks to reserve parks.. or go out of town to lakes, rivers, waterfalls or the beach.. alone or with one or two family member or friends.. and just take it all in.. I follow the 3 R's (reduce, reuse, recycle).. and since I love taking pictures, I bring a camera with me to take that beauty of nature with me at home.. Being with nature brings one serenity and just listening to it's silence is so relaxing.. I hope a lot of people do this for them to understand and respect nature more..
Lessons & tips: Take time to experience it.. you can never feel it until you've actually been there.. Make time, and savor every minute of it.. being one with nature is like finding yourself within your busy life.. it is a journey of being one with yourself as well.. I still do this, it keeps me well-balanced..
Resources: find a friend or two you can invite you can tag along with if you can't do it alone.. check the net for places you can visit within your place.. and just start doing it..

”..whenever i’m weary or just plain fed up with the toxicity of the so called fast-paced life.. i camp out.. or i just take a long nice work in the park where i can see mostly flowers and trees and i can hear the brids sing.. it’s like a stress filter for me.. it works everytime.. nature gives me that refreshing new feeling always.. it’s calming.. and straightens my all-cramped up emotions.. i guess it also pays that i celebrate my birthday the same way earth celebrate hers.. in a way, it strengthens my connection with nature itself..”

“i walked barefooted on the warm sand of the beach.. felt the salty air as it blows gently on my face.. watched the calming waves as it rushes to and fro my bay.. the setting sun tinting the sky with hues of bright orange and red.. i love the beach.. i’m at peace here.. it’s quiet.. especially during these moments when i needed most to be alone.. not because i hate company.. but because i just needed to get in touch with myself and realign my life goals once again.. like those moments when you’ve been busy with life that you kind of forget what you were really doing in the first place.. it’s nice to just let go and be one with nature.. serenity is but a wonderful gift..”
