Entry # 1 -- PULSE YOGA 10 months ago

I just thought of a perfect thing for me to try this week. PULSE YOGA! I’ve been hearing lots of stories about it, and I’ve been wanting to attend one of the classes but I’ve been putting it off. But I’m motivated to really try something new every weeek for the next 2 months. Lets do this! http://www.pulse-yoga.com/

It's the little things that I can change but... 18 months ago

I can’t do enough new things right now to make this goal worth while. I’m giving up for now but I’ll be back soon!

I am so set in my ways! 19 months ago

I seem to have issues with getting myself to try new things. Once I find a place/food/route/product that I like I get stuck in a rut. I go to the same 5 places for lunch each day of the week. I eat the same foods over and over. I drive the same way each time I go somewhere. I’ve been using the same type of bath and beauty stuff for at least 10 years. What is wrong with me? I need to get out there and try new things, eat new foods, take the road I’ve never been down and find new favorites among the endless selection of products available at my local shops.
I am challenging myself to try something new once a week for a year…starting NOW!

It was an imposible goal anyway 22 months ago

I have sacrificed one semesters worth of free will to spend my time working in study to gain an associettes degree
it has priority and for the next few months I can not chase new things

especaly not when my goal of find employment is compleated and sadly it is now or buy a bunch of servival gear and live off the land for the rest of my life doging creditors at every turn (I can just feel someone pitching this to t.v. studios now)

sigh it isn’t good when your life closes in around you like a straight jacket but I think I will gain in the long run

not worth doing 22 months ago

bugs there is a reason you don’t normaly eat them (noticably small amounts of insects fall into our diet but not in substantal numbers)
so even if you are at a thing called bugfest
and even if there is a table
where there are bug based
hors’devours or how ever that is spelt

the rosted exoskeletons weren’t that crunchy and what little tast they had was bland

I would try eating insects again but not the ones I have had

and they botherd my stomach but that is a me thing seafood does the same (but then I went 22 years without eating seafood so I don’t think my stomach knows what to do with it)

also I realy need more nonfood entries
eat to live don’t live to eat and all
but if my stomach is the only part of me that gets any adventure
it wasn’t the point of this goal

week 4 22 months ago

With all the activity the first week of classes (and getting used to waking up at 6:37am for my mwf 8am class) I was too buisy trying to get back into my school patterns to try anything new.

If I have done anything new I didn’t notice.

week 3 or something 23 months ago

this week I tried the smoothies at the Naked Swirl
14460 New Falls of Neuse Rd. #177 Raleigh, NC
www.nakedswirl.com

It was very good _

earlier weeks
I tried new ways of working on papper (that definetly helped me pass eng 111 and will help me pass eng 112), and other things I can’t think up right now.

Since this is a perminent for of the goal “try something new this week” I can’t ever realy compleat it.
So a very wise person recomended I write an entry about what I tried each week, so I have some feeling of acomplishment about this goal.
