I purchased the Helmer drawer at Ikea yesterday and this evening I had the pleasure of putting it together. Took a bit of time, I’m embarressed to say but it was a good thing for time. I am going to complete a few other things this evening, this includes cleaning off the baseboards and windows and putting up blinds in my bedroom.
Tomorrow I am going to Ikea, to purchase more furniture to complete my bedroom. I will have quite a bit of fun assembling the items. That is why I adore Ikea, there is fun in shopping and in assembling. They have really perfected their craft. Adieu.

Through trial and error I have discovered I work better when something is to be completed within a short time frame. I believe it has something to do with being anxious to exibit results. I find when I am engaged in hands on activities I accomplish more. I also work better when there are deadlines, it is sort of a motivator.
Now that I know where I win it is time I begin doing these things to see an improvement in my character.
I have been off from school and work for some time and during this timeframe I have been slowly turning into a vegetable. I feel as though my spirit is rotting away.
It is important that I improve my work ethic not just to appear hard working to others but for my well being.

hannesc can't believe I am 30 already :P
The same thing that got me to quit smoking has helped me improve my work ethic. I want to immigrate to Japan in the near future, and I can’t very well attempt working there when I’m still a lazy bastard at work.
I have actually been working my butt of as of late, all be cause of the above reason. :D

No more sitting on the net, or finding any other excuse not to do any actual work. Starting now, I am going to give all to my employer during work hours. Not only will I prove to them that they hired the right guy for the job, but if I really commit, they will let me start working flexy hours.
Nuff said.

Well, it’s monday night and I’m here, damn it, and I’m going to be here all night whether I like it or not. No more of that taking time off or being late crap and just plain being a lazy dud. Grrr! Being a slacker just isn’t fitting, I can’t live like that anymore!!! dramatically faints
But I wanna be lazy like Betty Grable in this picture…Oh well, guess a girl can dream.
