Yeah the house is paid off. It is so nice to have the extra money that was going to the mortgage. We will be having a mortgage burning party this weekend.

i want my house paid off, that is real retirement. forget saving for when i am 80 and finally stop working. where are you going to live?? i would rather own my house now, and move onto something else to work towards in life. today i brought the taxes up to date and paid ahead a little. i will be making the next house payment in a few days.
