Even though the sea exerts a stronger pull, this year I’m going into the other direction, south. And who knows? These travels might eventually take me all the way through Switzerland and Italy and enable to me to swim in the Mediterranean sea again. (I can be hopeful.) In the meantime, the landscape in the Zurich region is amazing. I’ve never seen such a combination of rural communities and beautiful, seemingly unspoiled mountains before. My heart beats stronger for other places, but we are here, this is now… I want to make the most of it. It’s a good starting point for me to rediscover my adventurous side. I didn’t know that I’d be able to hike like I do, but now that I’ve found out, the next train trip and hike up a mountain is planned. Ergo: doing it! 2 years ago
