Again, this goal appeals to me because it’s so random and quirky. But seriously, how much fun would that be?? Ah, I MUST do this someday. Ha ha ha…pillows :D
How to fill an entire room with pillows
How I did it: I rented a house with a bunch of friends and before it became a party house and someone moved into it, we had a small spare bedroom with a door to the yard and a sloped ceiling. We covered the floor with pillows and pinned fabric to the ceiling. The walls we covered with cheesey, mellow art work. The only furniture was a large record player. It was a great place to relax.
Lessons & tips: Go to the thrift store and get pillows there (wash them first!) Also, if you can sew, get some cheap fabric ($1 and $2 a yard isn't that hard to find)-pillows are the easiest thing to make, and since you're filling a whole room, they don't even have to be sewn perfectly. The point here is to make it all soft a cozy, not stylish and beautiful.
