TomIt seemed like a good idea at the time
The ad in the paper said I could earn about $75 a week for 3 hours work on Sunday morning, but I didn’t find that to be the case. In fact, I’m not sure how much I made because I had to collect the money from the customers and then I was billed by the newspaper company for all the papers I delivered. But a lot of customers were late or wanted some kind of special plan to pay every other month or whatever. Some paid me directly (and I had to deposit all the checks) and others paid the newspaper company directly, so it was confusing. Plus I used my own car and gas. It was a pain to reach into the boxes or throw the papers onto the porches. Some people were nice but others were not. Overall, it wasn’t worth it. 4 years ago
