The while MVC framework is such a paradigm shift. I can’t seem to push myself into it.
Anyone want to develop a ruby app with me. I can provide the hosting and domain name.

How I did it:
Development was done a Mac with NetBeans 6.5. Started off using Textmate for development and switched to NetBeans midway. Productivity soared after switching. The ROR development and debugging tools in NetBeans is excellent.
The application (http://www.mobilebooklet.com) is now in testing stage with the base functionality up and running. First beta release should be within the next 2 weeks.
If you're a newbie in ROR programming, I highly recommend you get NetBeans 6.5.
Resources: Plugins available at github.com were a great help. Why write from scratch when you can reuse.

I’m writing a copy of eben’s idea tool for work. After a few days of ruby on rails, I love it so much now it physically hurt me to go fix a jsp bug today.
It’s worth noting that my original RoR project was a copy of eben’s metafeed, but then the robots built one for us, and now I’m copying another eben creation. Do I have an original bone in my whole body?
