How I did it: Well, in PE in school we do stretches every day before we play games and stuff. So every day i would push myself a little bit farthe and throughout my 11 months i got more and more flexible. Yeah it hurt, but not that much. And it definatly paid off. It feels good to be able to do a split and have ppl look at u like "Whoa! Are u an alien or something?! How do u do it?". Been trying to stretch more often, bring my stretching band around with me.
Starting today, I will try to stretch Before Sleeping and After waking.
Took my first Yoga Class on Saturday. It was hard. Man, am I not flexible>
I haven’t stretched for a while it seems. I don’t know why, I think I just haven’t made time for it. But the other day I did just to see if I’ve lost what flexibility I’ve gained, and I haven’t . I heard falling behind a week can put you back at square one. Glad it didn’t, but I suppose I just need to set a specific time to do this so I don’t stop. Maybe that’ll be my next step, just setting a time, and doing it. Not focusing on what I’ve missed. Hmm…

So I want to be more flexible, but I’m at a loss. I’ve picked up a few books and I’ve started to read around. I’m going to start stretching a few times a day, and doing small exercises to iprove flexibility. We’ll see what’s going on by next week.
Flexibility: Well…I can touch my toes, despite fairly long legs.
So since I’ve been dancing, I’ve been stretching. And the people in my class are really, really flexible and of course, it definitely helps when you’re dancing. Plus, it looks really cool! So I’ve been trying to get in the habit to stretch everyday before I have to go off to work. I’ve kept it up for about 2 weeks and I can already notice a difference. My goal is to keep doing this and to get better at dancing.

starting yoga has really helped with this goal. each time i go im able to move a little further in the pose. it is a wonderful added benefit.

My flexibility level right now: hahahaha, stop laughing at me!
My leg has been sore for the past 3 weeks.. I mean, it HURTS! for no reason, either, because I hadn’t been stretching and I didn’t hurt it in any way. It just felt…like a bruise. But now it hurts even worse. I’m going to the doctor to have it checked out. Till then… No stretching for me!
