szegarra is good
the plan for this is april of 2010…let’s see if it happens.
I’ve BEEN from BC to Quebec by bus …Yes, by bus… but now I’d really like to drive ( okay, I’ll probably let my hubby do most of the driving – isn’t that nice of me ? ) across Canada so that we can venture off the beaten track a bit and spend more time in places that look interesting. I also want to see Niagra Falls…Cheesy I know but I want to see it.
We’re starting to look at the road routes and take a peek at little side locations that we want to visit… Roadtrip ‘09! Toronto to Victora. (well, technically to wherever we get the ferry, haha.)
I am pretty ashamed that I have not done this. I have never been to British Columbia.
I drove from Toronto to Vancouver through the states and returned the Canadian route. I LOVED the Canadian route (but the prairies are looooonnnngggggg in Canada). Enjoy the sky, the people, and knowing that you are catching a glimpse of how diverse and wonderful Canada really is.
I am doing the Vancouver to Toronto drive again in August 08:) We have decided to take the high road again and avoid the States. To save $$$, we will be alternating tent camping and hotels.
Next summer we plan on completing the trip Toronto to PEI :)
All Canadians should make this trek once – amazing!
I have driven to Montreal from Victoria, it was a marvellous trip. I wish to do so again, in time for McGill graduation last week of May.
Alternately I will be returning to the West Coast mid-June or July. I am a geographer and map-maker and take a keen interest in the landscape.

Hopefully in a couple years me and my friend Sara will buy a van and drive to all of the major cities and awsome attactions. Hopefully we will try and hit all of the 7 wonders of Canada and see alot of the awsome festivals!
Tarklandoura is studying for final exams...
does it count that I wasn’t the one driving? And that it wasn’t all at once and spanned a 5 year period? At any rate, I’ve been to all the provinces except Newfoundland, my dad driving the car through each of them. Lots of great experiences and memories from all our family’s travels, as well as some boredom (but that’s to be expected when you’re sitting in a car for hours and hours on end for 4 days straight).
Me and 3 other friends are going to do Toronto to Vancouver and back this summer in my 91 Jeep Cherokee, I hope its up to it, but its only at 117k and stil running strong. Plus its big enough and comfy.

the_cats_ass asks,
“Has anyone ever done this without crossing into the U.S.? I've never done this before and everyone I know who has always cuts through the states (cheating)!? Anywho... Toronto to Red Deer....leaving on the 10th. Wish me luck :)”
