I met a guy there and I wanna stay in manila for five days but i need a job and i need to learn tagalog lol

I love the Philippines, but I have noticed that they are nicer to you if you are NOT of Filipino descent (I am, so sucks for me). Sad to say, there is some underlying corruption in this country, so if you don’t know Tagalog, it may be better to be with someone who knows the language. Goods are cheap so bring some money to shop with!

wow .. its been like almost 10 years since my last visit to the philippines .. i was about 5 or 6 and i only went because my grandmother passed away .. there wasn’t much sightseeing or anything, we just stayed at my dad’s house and then went to go visit my mom’s family. i have TFC at home and now i’m really into the culture, and im getting better at speaking and understanding our language =) i really want to go back .. its just that i CANT STAAAAND long plane rides. so if i couldn’t stand 4 hours, how would i stand 24? lol

I was born in the Philippines, but moved to the USA when I was not even a year old. I went back to visit when I was 12, but was too young to really appreciate the different culture. Now I have become very interested in my homeland and really want to go back, maybe even go to school there my senior year of college.
