light a candle for someone

Ever time I go to church I do this now.
It feels good, especially when there are things you have no real control over and can do little about, such as illesses.
At least, by lighting a candle, you feel like you are sending some good will to your loved ones. 5 years ago

She is always going to church and lighting candles for people. I did this last Sunday for her, for she is in a hospital right now. I think I will try to light a candle everytime I go to church. 5 years ago
