I guess this isn’t going to happen this year.

Next year I will be more organised!

We climbed the Tor 3 weeks ago. We went around and around, but you have to be careful not to end up where you started. To avoid it you have to take a leap up to the next level. Make sure you do it Widdershins though. Fantastic, do it.

Not doing too well at arranging a date for this one.

Looks like it might happen in late July, August or September.

If there are any weekend dates which you can’t do and are planning to tag along, give me a shout.

    Available dates for me are:-

    July 14th, 21st, 28th
    August 4th, 11, 18th, 25th
    September 1st, 22nd, 29th

Steep, windy, and would it kill them to put a coffee machine in at the top? Still, lovely views and enough of a workout to feel like an achievement. I love Glastonbury, it’s such a chilled-out place.

I have climbed the tor several times and intend to again this weekend. It is never the same each time – most definately worth doing.

The view is absolutely amazing! The climb is a killer but OH! When you get to the top you know you’ve done a good thing that you’ll rmemeber the rest of your life. And if you’ve done it on a summer’s day, there might even be an ice cream van sitting at the bottom, waiting for you at the end…

View from the Tor. It was so, so amazing to stand on the top of it—I felt like I was in Avalon <3

but it's really windy up there! 4 years ago

I made a trip back to Glastonbury just to do this (and find the Chalice Well). Glastonbury is wonderful even if you don’t climb the Tor, but the view up there is amazing. Climb up the back side and down the front side. Be prepared for the type of wind that you can lean into and not fall over…
