I’m very conflicted about using any airplane fuel at all, and would rather not do it anymore if I can help it. Maybe someday there will be eco-friendly steamships or something so we can get around without such a negative impact on our planet, I don’t know. But for now I don’t think traveling to far-away places is tops on my list. I think I need to focus on my local community, and reduce my impact. I don’t think it’s right for me to exercise my privilege just because I can.
How to visit Brazil
How I did it: Simply enough, I bought a plane ticket, and I went there! But now I wish I hadn't bought the return ticket... I'll go back someday, that's suuuure ! :P

We went on our honeymoon in Brazil last year and loved it… we went to Trancoso and Rio and Iguassu Falls… I can’t recommend it enough, lovely people, wonderful beaches and good food! We planned it all with a tailor made travel agency which was nice since we had too much other stuff to worry about with the wedding… all went swimmingly and the guides and drivers were fantastic.
Santa Catarina, Brazil is a MUST for everyone! Absolutely beautiful! Florianopolis is the state’s capital and its GORGEOUS!
I’m brazilian, and GOOOsh, it is so good living here!
Drop by curitiba, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, e Bahia are great, but
there’s more about brazil people!
Come visit Ilha do Mel, o Oeste paranaense, os Pampas, the very curitiba itself has so many things to show.
It keeps me very sad becose the image of brazil out there is much superficial…

I have only seen what Brazil looks like through pictures and movies. From what I have seen it looks beautiful. From the beaches to the women, from the languange to the clubs. It just seems so full of life. I dont think I would enjoy living there so much, but to visit for a vacation would definilty be something that I want to do.
I visited Sao Paulo, Brasil over Christmas break and i had the best time of my life! the people there are awesome! the weather is amazing! and for anyone who has never traveled, it will blow you away! i spent 6 nights on Ilha do Cardoso. it was very rustic, but gave me the chance to see a traditional side of Brasil. i would recommend going to this beautiful country to anyone!
My husband is from Brazil, and at the beginning of March we are taking the final step towards his permanent residency here. Once that is complete, we are able to travel & he can re-enter Canada. So, we’ve let his family know we will be visiting soon!
I’m scheduled to go next winter. My wife is from there and it should be great fun.
