Newcastle and Ben and Jerry’s Mocha Almond Fudge in a chilled glass.
Yummy in your tummy.
How I did it: Made sure the beer was decent and the ice cream was good. I wanted to pair something coffee like with the ice cream and this was the result. I remembered that I had the means to do this so I went to the fridge and I pulled out the remainder of my Häagen-Dazs and opened a can of Guinness Stout. I plopped the ice cream into a 22oz glass and covered with Guinness.
Lessons & tips: Be sure to think about your pairing. Lighter beers don't fair well in this but darker, maltier beers will lend a delectable flavor when the ice cream mixes.
The more I do this the more I will post about the combination of flavors.

refreshing!
Cookie said, “I think we just ruined a good pale ale. And a good ice cream.” May have worked better with a darker beer. Still worth doing, to discover that it’s not worth doing again (at least the vanilla/pale ale combo isn’t).
It was actually pretty good…maybe because I really like ice cream, but I was pleasantly surprised.
