See "RENT" Live on Broadway

This isn’t going to happen now but I caught it in St. Louis with two of the original Broadway cast members.

With the original characters! Not the lame ones they try to play off with in the cheapo stage shows.

Incredible. Origional Cast was phenomenal. I wast’t a fan of broadway MiMi, though Movie Joanne was pretty stunning. Saw a few shows off of broadway which were also fantastic. Movie was Extremely well produced though it lost alot of the emotion that you got from the live performance. La Vie Bohem and Rent were pretty rock and roll though. I still sing along to the soundtracks daily.

I saw it in 2000 so I missed the original cast but it is still an amazing musical

my mom tried to get me to go see rent when it came to the lied a couple years ago, but I didnt know what it was then. and she had described it as a mix between rock and roll and opera…so I told her I wasnt interested. then my friends that had gone raved on and on about it and I realized I had really missed out. it still hasnt come back to town, so I figure I’ll just go see it on broadway sometime and get the real deal. :)

It was great, I went with a community service group to New York, we all enjoyed this one, good dancing and very entertaining. Some of those people are SO limber

Entered the ticket lotto at the Nederlander Theatre and my girlfriend won two tickets! Happy birthday to her, and my first chance to see RENT. It was absolutely awesome and I will definately try to see it again.
