go to lollapalooza 2007

sometimes it pays to work in the college radio industry.
i acquired press passes and got to go in the media area all three days. free water, snacks, and chances to rub elbows with great musicians.
though this year’s lineup wasnt as overall amazing as those years past, top performances for me were Iggy Pop, Daft Punk, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Muse, Against Me, and Ted Leo/Rx.

OH MY! Too much fun! 3 days of music, beer, sweat upon sweat and just good ole fun. Can’t wait until next year!

Oh wow. 3 days of fantastic music in a beautiful setting, what’s not to love? I can’t wait to go back next year! We saw so many really good bands, what a great way to end the summer!

I was even on stage for 2 seconds with Iggy Pop and 100 other people after he told us to storm the stage. I had a GREAT time! My husband got some amazing pictures! We saw so many wonderful bands like Modest Mouse, the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, LCD Sound System, The Fratellis, Lady Ga Ga, Juliet and the Licks and many others. The only drawback was that there was too many bands to see all the ones I wanted. But all in all it was nothing short of magical!!!

The sun was blazing on the first day, but that didn’t stop us from partying for 3 days!!

We may have gotten small sunburns, stuck in the shade more often, lots of sweating involved and our frozen water melted quickly…but none of that matters when you are watching some of the GREATEST bands perform w/ your best friend!

Oh yeah! Cuz me and my best friend “Cherry311” are going to Lollapalooza for 3 days!!!

Bring on the sun! Bring on the hotties, the drinks, the music, the dancing….cuz here we come!!!!
