visit my sister

I haven’t started packing yet. My plane leaves on Monday morning. I already have a ride to the airport. I just need to get the packing done. It’s going to be a short trip so if I leave anything behind it shouldn’t be a big deal.

and the tickets even came with extra fees for security and luggage!

I requested some time off from work. I should be okay with getting my shift covered. Now I just need to get an affordable ticket.

If every thing works out I’ll visit my sister at her uni in a few weeks, it should be awesome I’ve really missed her.

I really enjoy visiting my sister and her kids. I wish I had time and money to go more often, but I’ll continue to maximize the time I do have. I know I’ll go visit in August at the very least, but I’m sure I can manage to visit sooner too.

My plan is to try and save a bit in the time leading up to winter break. I have a little bit extra that I can spare from working a lot this summer. I’m also thinking I’ll ask my parents if I can forgo Christmas presents, and have the money go toward plane tickets instead. I know it won’t cover the entire cost, but it’ll help a lot.

Winter break. I’m seeing my sis. Oh yeah, maybe I can meet my future brother-in-law as well….ya know, instead of a day before the wedding =P

Writing it down like this… it helps a lot. I feel like I’m going to make it happen. =)

It was great! I must go back and see more of my family!

got a free weekend this month, and just went. Didn’t really tell anyone. Just got in the car and zoom. Got to hang with my sister all day because she had the day off. I expected she’d be working, because she always is. We had a great time, and it is something I need to do again soon.

I want to go back home to Chicago and visit my sister. (And my mom’s side of the family too.) There is a good possibility I will be going back in June!
