According to financial guru Suze Orman, one should have an 8-month emergency cash fund set aside. For me, that would be about $30,000 in savings. As right now I only have about $1,600 in my savings account, I have a long way to go on this one! 18 months ago
so I’ll automatically have $100 each month transferred from my checking account to my savings account. Interest rates are peanuts now, but at least all be setting aside over $1,000 per year. 22 months ago
When I started doing my photo shoots, I created a savings account and planned to put all of my photography earning into it ad to save. It wasn’t long before I’d spent the little that was in there; and stopped adding the money in altogether. So from now on I’m going to make sure that all of my photography earnings goes into my savings account, and that I pay into it what I owe. 2 years ago
