Save my loose change for six months.

I STARTED THIS LAST MONTH AND I ALREADY HAVE A LITTLE OVER 40 DOLLARS WITH THE CHANGE I ALREADY HAD IN MY PURSE FROM PAST PURCHASES.

It has been sixth months, but this really wasn’t too good for me. I guess I really don’t spend all that much money…so I don’t get much change lol. But at least I can say I did it.

I’ve saved up a shit-load of change…no clue how much and I dont exactly have time to roll it myself. There are no coinstars (is that what they are called?) near me AT ALL….where else can I take them?

Well, I have just started this to day. I have also decided to pay for everything in cash, no checks (except to mail pmnts), no credit cards.

Have a 2 gallon cookie jar and put change in it whenever I have it. Done it for 4 years now. Takes about 2 years to fill it. Just before New Years, it was full and I turned it in. $302. Great way to save.

I started a month ago, so I could take all my change to the bank once I graduated in May, but I really don’t spend money, thus I get little or no change back…so its extremely slow going. I hope to have a few dollars at the end of six months going at this rate, lol.

Next week is spring break, so I will smash it open sometime then.

Yeah I started to figure that six months was up cause my little coconut man is overflowing and so now I am using a slasa bowl from a mexican restaurant to hold my change.

yeah but its all cool yeah know.

I am excited! I cant wait.
