Finish the Fountianhead

I began reading The Fountainhead when I was 15-years-old, on a plane flying from New England back home to Texas. It was a comforting book because it presented life to my confused teenage mind a way that interested me, in a manner that coincided with the way I think. It took me a couple of months to finish it, and I really enjoyed it… I ended up writing this big junior year report for my AP English class on it. That was six years ago and it remains one of my favorites to this day.

I must admit some of the character traits in society are over the top but the thematic elements make this book priceless. Idealism never seemed so attractive. You can learn a lot from this novel
