    I think you have to do this in the winter, when they are concentrated in particular areas. Every time I have given it a go in the summer months, they just aren’t there. I tried Lover’s Key State Park (where they normally are later in the spring), but it was a failure. I guess I will just have to go to Florida in February. Poor me!

    For a sea cow they are the most gracious creatures. I’ve seen them (1 one time and 2 recentley) in the wild. They are very cool creatures to observe.
