So I’m back horse riding about a year now. Best thing I ever did! I had a bad fall last week, horse misjudged the take off point on a fence and we ended up crashing into it, me going over his head and him nearly landing on me. I’ve been in physio all week but I’m looking forward to going horse riding again this week. You know what they say, you just have to get back in the saddle.

i first started when i was about 7, and absolutely loved it!! i rode at a few different stables and spent my whole saturday there, every week, until i was about 15. it was the best thing ever. i gave up just before i turned 16, so that i could concentrate on doing my GCSE’s, but then i went to college and boys and drinking and alcohol got in the way.
i’d love to go back for lessons again, i always get a twinge when i see riders out on hacks and wish it was me.its just finding the money and the time!! but i will definitely do it soon i hope.
I just landed this new job, so once that starts paying I’ll be able to afford riding lessons again. Watch this space!
..I’m earning enough money. There’s really no excuse for me not doing it. Just laziness.
From the age of 4 to 20 I went horse riding several times a week but then when I started at university I just didn’t have the time anymore and I let myself get out of the habit. Now I have the time again so I’m looking into different stables in my area to see what school is best for me.
