I had a dream about getting lasik eye surgery last night – it was weird.

Without my glasses or contacts I can barely see. I can’t distinguish faces or read things unless they’re extremely close to my face. I really want to one day have this surgery.

Lasik 12 months ago

I should probably start using my savings program at work to buy Lasik.

Sooo Awesome!!! 2 years ago

I can see, I can see!!! Woo hoo! What’s a few minutes of discomfort, some really unsexy eye coverings and a few thousand bucks when I can see without worrying about stupid contacts and glasses??!

YEAH! This was awesome! I’m so glad I did it!!!

Had my consult today!!! 2 years ago

Scheduled my pre-op, and my surgery… should have this checked off (and be able to see contact lens free) within a short few weeks. YEAH!!!

WTF?! 2 years ago

I got a quote today… around $4300! Are they smokin’ the wacky tabaccy? Cause that’s just flippin’ CRAZY!

May have to shelve this goal for now cause I’m still not rich. LOL!

A Long-time Goal 3 years ago

I used to be very short-sighted and had been wearing glasses since I was 9 years old. Each of my eyes was over 1,000 degrees and it’s pretty inconvenient for me. I had been a contact-lens wearer for 15 years, until I finally decided to have my Lasik eye surgery in September 2005. It’s fulfilling a longtime dream of mine and I was very thrilled that I had my vision corrected. For me, it’s just minor discomfort for the first day. And another thing was the strange odor that’s emitted from the laser during the surgery process that caught me off guard. It’s my biggest investment so far and I had to dig deep into my savings, but I’m really glad that I went for it. I’m thankful that now I’m able to open my eyes in the morning and see with good vision!
