I’ve almost finished my Oriental-style blouse, all but the hems on the bottom and the sleeves. Oh, and it needs frog closures. But I’m not really inspired to finish it, because it turns out that it doesn’t fit around the hips. That’s the problem with sewing your own clothes. I put a heartbreaking amount of work into it, too. 5 years ago

I finished my sleeveless top last night and am wearing it today. Yay me! I’m thinking about starting the Oriental-style blouse next; the fabric I have for it is a red satin with a black spider web pattern on it. Should be very cool! 5 years ago

I’ve finished my blue skirt, except for the hem, my fleece jacket, except for the frogs (both of those I’m procrastinating on because I hate hand-sewing) and last night I worked on my sleeveless top for the first time in a few years. Hopefully will be done by the end of the week. 5 years ago

I finished my purple shirt this weekend and am wearing it as I type. Why can’t there be more long weekends? I could get a lot done! 6 years ago

This week I cut out my fleece jacket. On Saturday I bought the pattern for the purple shirt and I cut it out on Sunday. And, more importantly, I didn’t buy a new project that tempted me when I was in the fabric store. 6 years ago

getting proects done is hard. This I guess is combined with stay focus and stop procatinating. Good luck everyone. Some days I feel like I get 1% of my list done. This feels like a never ending thing to do because as soon as I get some projects done, more come along. 7 years ago
