It’s terrible, I have a terrible habit of on line gambling. I have been doing this for years and by now it is the only thing I feel is fun to do. I know I can get them off my pc. Then I always say well I played so much this month I should wait until the end of he month to get the free money they give you for all I have deposited in the last 30 days. I feel it has made me lazy moody and addicted.

How I did it: How I did it was ... first i deleted the online gambling sites off my computer, and sent an email to the sites explaining my situation and asked them to block me from the sites. Surprisingly enough they were more than helpfull in this. Second ..... I had to control myself. I am impulsive to begin with, couple that with an addictive personality and well you see where that could go. Giving it up wasnt easy i had to fight urges it was tough.… Read how I did it…

I really need to quite gambling. It is chewing into all my money. I am becoming so depressed and desperate, I need all the help and strength I can get, but not from people I know so I am pretty much flying solo, keeping this tortue all to myself. Tomorrow will be day one of no gambling.
splona is working
I admitted today that I am a compulsive gambler. I want to never step foot in a casino again. As soon as I get paid, I go to the casino and have to starve for the next week until I get paid again. I have no savings and I need to put money away for a rainy day. I have no money to do fun things with my daughter. Hopefully I will be able to update this weekly and be able to say, I haven’t gambled. One week, then one month, then 1 year, 10 years, etc. Please cheer me on so I can make this goal a reality.
Patrick Keller starting out is easy, maintaining is work
So I went out for lunch with a friend and I suggested the casino, and she said “sure”.
I only spent 40 bucks, plus the 3 dollar atm fee, but then when I got out I cashed in a 4 dollar winner for 2 tickets and won on both, 10 dollars total, cool right? wrong! I took the 10 bucks and bought 2 5 dollar tickets and lost on both, so I bought one more.
total amount lost today: $52
so many better things I could’ve spent that money on.
I need to ban myself I think

I have to remind myself what it feels like to lose money I can’t afford to lose without actually losing it.
I bought 2 five dollar tickets today, and won 10 on the first one I scratched. I keep getting lucky and breaking even..
The casino is fun, but I should be saving my money, or spending it on something worthwhile.
NO MORE SCRATCH OFFS!! not 1 2 5 10 or 20 dollar tickets.
No MORE CASINO!!

NO MORE SCRATCH OFFS!!
I’ve been resisting the urge to go to the casino by reminding myself all of the great things I can actually Buy with the money I spend there, and reminding myself that a win isn’t really a win because I never leave when I should.
My new couch is my reason to not gamble, haven’t finished paying for it yet.
I think I just thought of a new goal

I went to eat at the casino buffet and gambled 10 bucks at first, but I ended up winning and walking out with 110.
hopefully that won’t feed into my addiction

Losing 300 bucks in a week makes it pretty easy to stay away form the casino, but there is still that itch.
