Declutter declutter declutter

for the charity shop. This is an ongoing task, but I’m gonna take it off my list now so I can focus on other things.

We’re having a huge garage sale this weekend!

I’ve decided enough is enouch, I feel stuck and like I spend most of my time organising clutter and hating my house!
I am going to do a little bit at a time and am planning to sell on ebay etc to clear some extra cash!

I feel the energy stuck in my flat.the energy definitely needs to flow.I’m a major hoarder…

This has taken me literally years. Everything we are not using is either in piles to sell or give away, or in labeled bins in the basement. I feel like i can finally concentrate on some other things I want to do! I’m very happy! Anyone who is trying to do this, just do a little every day and one day it will be done! I was able to finish this even with 3 kids 3 & under!

My sister helped me sort through all my clothes yesterday and we filled a black bin bag full of stuff for the charity shop! I also put about 10 handbags in there too….so now all my bags fit in the top part of my wardrobe (I still have LOADS left, but I love them!) Not gonna bother doing the swapsies night now….I just need the stuff out of the house and benefitting someone else.

I’m getting rid of so many things (throwing away, selling, & giving away) and it feels great! I have made over $250 so far selling things, and I should make a lot more in the coming months. I will someday soon be clutter-free!

My office looks like its been ransacked! I’ve got clean clothes piled up waiting to be put away, cross stitch patterns and kits all over the surfaces, and even some of Mark’s junk and rubbish all over the floor where he started having a clear out in his office!

I’m going to ask Mark if he can look after Meg downstairs for an hour one day soon and blitz it. Its very hard to just do 15 minutes a day coz I have to have Meg with me and she’s a little destructive whirlwind of her own!

I’m also due a decluttering session in my office as my wardrobe is jam packed and drawers are full. I’ve decided I’m going to arrange a “swapsies” night with the girls. I’ll ask everyone to bring any clothes, shoes, bags and jewellery with them that they don’t want anymore and have an evening of swapping stuff. New stuff without spending a penny! How eco-friendly am I?

The boy has just moved out, so I can finally see floor space, but still a lot has to be done to make it a happy emotion free clean, tidy and sophisticated space. I used to get my haircut after a break up, but this time I’m gonna clean and clear, because that’s the same as sorting out my life innit?

Anyway, it’s quite sad but I’m really excited about it, I’m gonna move furniture and clear out boxes and think up exciting recycling projects to do and finally have my own studio that isn’t cluttered with playstation games or records that never get played.

Unfortunately my knee has seized up over night and I can’t straigten it or stand on it, so it’s gonna take twice as long to do.

I spent half an hour going through it all today (it’s only a small room!) and managed to get it looking great. It’ll be really nice when I get a desk to put the sewing machine on, but other than that, all documents filed, all clothing put away, all surfaces cleared, everything in its place.
