get straight As this quarter

A lot of homework today and many adventures on top of exercising. But I finally have most of it gathered together in one place and ready to do. Just have to sit down and do it (as soon as I’m done taking my friend to the store).

Okay, two extra credit opportunities coming up. There’s a museum exhibit which can count as extra credit for Oregon History and another possible project for Sociology. So, an opportunity to pave over some divits (yay) if they should pop up later on.

Setting my aim at the maximum possible score really motivated me last time; I got three a’s and a b. I’m going to try for three a’s (I’m only taking three classes this quarter). Which, honestly, should be easier than last quarter… since it was summer time and they were all shortened / accelerated classes. And three were technical subjects. This time I will have calc 3, possibly chemistry, and either sociology or history, or if I can’t get into chemistry, sociology and history.

this summer quarter my grades came in A, A, A, and a B. Next quarter, with any luck… I’ll keep trying=D

Today I got my report card in the mail :) I’ve had this goal for a long time. I’ve had good grades before and came pretty close, but never straight A’s!!! :) Actually, I had straight A+s minus one class. I’m so proud of myself. K, I’m a huge loser. But I don’t even care! I’m ecstatic :)

Today was the first day of class. I have a reading assignment.

French, Russian, English seminar on Human Rights Lit, Intro to Acting.

Plus an assignment to finish for summer.

Also, need to talk with counselor about class scheduling.

Yay! Tomorrow I start my first day of school for my last quarter. It’s going to be great! I missed being in class, but happy this will be my last (that rhymed!). 10 Mondays in class. I can’t wait for it to be over!

Well the last 10 weeks of my academic life are about to begin Sept 22. My goal is to get Straight A’s in my last 3 classes. To go out with a bang!

I don’t think I did as well for the courses in the travel study program I did though. Still I’m feeling fairly good about my grades, and confident that I can do better in the coming school year.
