...even the grey skies couldn’t have spoiled this. Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte or Black Forest gateau where I come from is the perfect cake in my opinion. And where better to eat it than here…?

...not the black forrest. I was there many times, not too hard, when you live in Germany. But the BFC (Black Forrest Cake) is just not really yummy. Too much cream, butter cream, sugar and so on. A truly great apple pie or strawberry cake is always preferred :o)
