I started today. Now I just have to keep up with it. I’ve set aside 15min everyday, so hopefully that helps!

I have my beads. I know the prayers. I love the feeling of praying the rosary, but sometimes I just forget to do it.
10/4/09: Doing well on this one. I’ve prayed each day since I made the goal.
11/9/09: More often than not. Still working on this commitment.
When I pray the Rosary it truly makes me behave better and I feel closer to God. It truly is a special prayer or school of prayers. I plan to pray this daily for the rest of my life but, I think I will do it for 30 then consider this goal accomplished.

With practice, my speed and focus have improved, and the Holy Rosary has become a very important part of my day. In a way, it is the very heart of my day, the centerpiece of the rhythm of my daily schedule. Now, I am trying to pray the full 15 decades, as that is what Our Lady requested at Fatima. The challenge will be: will I be faithful on the days when I just don’t feel like praying?
This is by far one of the easiest things to do – and such a FRUITFUL thing to do. I know how beneficial it is, I just never set aside the 15 minutes to do it.
Not anymore! Once I can do it for a full month I will consider myself accomplished!

Ok, I’m going to try to do this until November. If I can make it, I’ll remove it from my goals (but not from my routine).

I used to be in the habit of doing this automatically, but I went a couple of days without doing it, and I am amazed how quickly that spiraled into not doing it at all. This week, when I went to do it, I had to pause to remember the mysteries.
I am going to try it at least until I go to Africa because I have the feeling I will need it.
