Sea kayak next to a glacier

I went on a 2 week kayaking trip with National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) in Alaska. Can’t get too close, because the glaciers could calve and you’d flip over, but it was awesome, that and icebergs. Oh, my, God is good. : )

Took a kayaking tour, we were shuttled out to the remote fjord with 3 glaciers in it, and they are all receding. They sound like thunder and are stunning. Be prepared for cool and wet conditions – between the sea, the ice, and very likely misty rain, water is all around you. Was a multiday trip, best way to enjoy it. It was beautiful and I would do it again in a minute.
