Back home in the USA, our current taxation system is SO broken it’s nearly impossible for a non-expert to complete correctly.

Having a CPA and/or lawyer do it almost always pays off more than it costs.

I have had a lawyer do mine for about 3 of the last 7 years. In the years that HE did my taxes, I ended up paying a total of about $150,000 LESS in taxes than I thought I would. In the years that I have done my own, I have OVER-PAID by about $15,000.

My lawyer’s services cost me about $2500 each tax season.
