Going back to Pilates next week… that should help with my back.
Gonna try and find a swimming pool as well, I think my back should be stable enough now to start strenghtening it (+ once I get some proper back muscles hopefully my back will hurt less!) 5 years ago
the chiropractor said no sports that involve jumping around until my back is stabilized:-(
Obviously I see the logic but I’m dying to do something physical! And Pilates doesn’t exactly use that much energy! 5 years ago
Going to go to the combat class again with Maura. I haven’t gone in aaaages! Maybe I’ll go this wednesday, I’ll see how it goes… 5 years ago
The pilates class is going well. It’s good for my back so that’s the main thing really:-)
Will wait to be in better form before tackling something more intense (got food poisoning at the week-end!). I’d say by this WE I should be better and able to enjoy 4 days off for Easter:-) 6 years ago
Gonna do that again in the new year, it feels great!!!
When my shoulder is 100% back on track… shouldn’t be long now… 6 years ago
I went on Tuesday as well. There were 2 classes back to back so I ended up being in the 2nd class without noticing! So that meant 1h20min instead of 40min, more than I bargained for…
Anyway, I survived and all went well… So I’ll go back, but I might bring a watch:-) 6 years ago
Finally (!) went to the gym this WE. It was a “combat” workout, i.e. based around punching and kicking to the music! It was great actually, much more fun than a “classic” aerobics class, even though I was a bit ambitious to go to an hour long class for my 1st time! I had to stop and catch my breath a good few times… Anyway, I’m going back next week, I should be able to get out of bed for it (it’s at 12 anyway):-) 6 years ago
Still didn’t managed to go to the gym or anything… Well, I’ve been away for a good part of last month. + missed my Tai-Chi class last week and prob won’t go tomorrow cos I have to pack and go early Thu. morning.
On top of that I’m also kinda tired, so I guess I’m feeling pretty lazy @ the moment…
I’ll try to go when I come back from France (+ have recovered for a few days:-) 6 years ago
Well yesterday my boyfriend convinced me to go climbing with him instead (he didn’t like the idea of being in a gym and the only guy:-)...). But since we were both pretty tired, we ended up just going for a walk instead…
I planned to go to a class tonight, but I’m really tired again for some reason (should go to bed earlier, I guess…) so I’ll probably end up just chilling out at home…
Well, tomorrow I have Tai-Chi, so I’ll definitely go to that! 6 years ago
I’ve been told that the YMCA has fitness classes you can join for very cheap. Just checked it out, and indeed they do! They have some interesting sounding stuff, like Khai-Bo, “Bums, Tums & Tone”, “Morning Blitz”... (won’t be doing the “Morning Blitz” one though, it’s on Saturdays @ 11am!!!). I might even pop home after work, get my track-suit and try it out! Feeling lazy today, so I’ll probably just go with the “Power Stretch” class… 6 years ago
