be able to wear contact lenses

It’s kinda annoying squinting to see what’s available at the bar or what the band playing actually look like! (+ squinting is supposed to give you wrinkles!)
I should really give the contacts another try!

It’s gonna be necessary now. Ergonomics demand that I put my monitor well away from me, which means I can’t see a thing on it! and my glasses are a bit rubbish, they keep on attracting fluff and I have to wipe them all the time, which is a bit of a hassle… So I really need to get on with my efforts at wearing contacts!

I’m gonna learn to drive (which is another goal on my list), and for this I’ll need reliable glasses/contacts.
The glasses I have at the moment are not yet scratched or broken (glasses normally have quite a short life expectancy with me) but they seem to have static or something and they attract dust and fluff a lot… which means that when I’m wearing them I need to wipe them virtually every 10 min… not good if I’m gonna drive!
So 1st, take driving theory test (should manage with my current glasses), then manage to wear contacts to learn the actual driving!

I realised that when I don’t wear my glasses (which is most of the time), I tend to stare at people to be able to see/recognise them… It’s actually quite rude, but most of the time I don’t even realise I’m doing it… Another reason to make a fresh attempt at wearing contacts…

At least I got new glasses! Gonna pick them up on Thursday:) The previous ones have been scratched for ages:( It’s hard to bother making oneself renewing glasses when you only wear them every once in a while anyway…

I tried once, and it was a total di-sas-ter! My eye would close automatically every time I tried to approach it with the contact. But since I bought a big pack of them and more importantly since I scratched (another!) pair of glasses, I will really have to get on with it!!!
