Knitting two sided, knitting two socks at one (one within the other, not next to each other), I want to do it all. Casting off and pulling out one finished sock from within the other, now that’s got to be the high accomplishment in knitting geekdom. 4 years ago

I’ve been around looking for instructions of double knitting in two colors. I saw one even demonstrating how to create patterns with colors… 5 years ago

My current obsession/fascination is with double-knitting, a process by which you can knit both sides of a garment at the same time, resulting in a perfectly reversible garment with stockinette stitch on both sides.

Right now, I’m hoping to knit this pattern:

It’s a double-knitted, felted pirate booty bag. Right now, I’m making a swatch to see if the yarns I have will felt nicely. I hope they will! 6 years ago
