I lieved there for a year, it was worth doing just to do it, if you know what I mean. We lived upstate near New York. I did like the bagels.
I’d like to try and live and work in the US for a couple of years – to find out if that is the place that I’m destined for….
I am married and have a lovely daughter. I have been blessed in many arears in my life. But the one thing that I so badly want, more so for my family, than myself, is a future that guarantees success. And I believe whole heartedly that I will get that in America. It is true that it is the land of opportunities. I am very hard working and given the chance, would make a decent life for my family out there.
Nice don’t you think?
I’ve been there every summer for the last 4 years and hate returning to the UK (which is so dull). Everything’s so much cheaper, the food is nice and people in general seem nicer. Some of my family moved there from England 20 or so years ago and they haven’t regretted it at all.
I can’t say enough good things about the place. I spent some of the best times of my life there, doing things I’d never be able to do in this country and meeting some of the friendliest people.
The shops are cheaper, the food is better, the houses are bigger and the men are sooooo much nicer.
Unfortunately the chance of living there in the future is slim…so I have to plan a great vacation instead. I’m thinking East Coast, back to the places I have been and loved. But eventually I would love to see more places.
