MandaP I am going to give this all that I have...I want this bad.
I’m getting there!! Maybe I’ll take it to work with me tomorrow. I’ve started “Bet Me” by Jennifer Crusie, it’s really good so far.
How I did it: I borrowed a book from my sister-in-law and I had the book for months, but one week, my husband was working a lot and I just decided to get through it. The more I got into the book, the harder it was to put down. I read Bet Me, by Jennifer Crusie. It was a cute, kindof superficial book. I think if you're looking for character depth and intellectual dialog, you might want to skip this one...but it definitely got me motivated to read more!

I’ve read a few non-fiction ones since I’ve put this goal on here. My sister-in-law brought me a fiction book because I’ve been putting off going to the library…I think my whole thing about reading fiction books is that I feel like I’m wasting time reading something that isn’t real, but isn’t that the same as watching a movie?? I’m gunna start reading one tomorrow!! Maybe right now. :)
I started a book last night…It is a western novel by William Johnstone titled Gunsight Crossing. Now to see if I can finish it by the end of the month (Jan 08).
Since I have actually just sat down and read a fiction novel. Years, in fact. Life is always so busy. I have been working a lot full time and going to school, so I have either read work related material or text books. Sometimes I will squeeze in some uplifting non-fiction. I actually just want to sit down and totally get lost in a book. Any ideas for a good book? No horrors or sexually explicit ones, please.
