First Day

Today was my first day at Habitat. I love it but I am so tired. We were insanely busy today and when the store is slow there is a lot of cleaning to do. I am going back tomorrow and for sure on Thursday. I might go on Wednesday too, but probably not because Wednesday is going to be busy with a four hour shift at the hospital then yoga class which ends 30 minutes before G’s birthday party starts. I am going to be soooo tired on Wednesday. I should probably just stay home after my shift at the hospital and work on my research paper or something productive like that. But anyway, I like working at Habitat.

I’m going by tomorrow to talk to someone and meet the people. I start in about eight days. I filled out an application months ago. Yay! I’m glad I finally get to do it. I was beginning to think it would never happen because no one would call me back and I talked to multiple people there. But I actually get to volunteer!
