so i finally bought a helmet and the guy at the bike store was telling me good routes, but i can’t remember them. he also said i could ride with their group once i get more conditioning.
How to ride 100 miles on a bike

How I did it: Did The Best Dam Bike Ride up to Hoover Dam with a mad dog friend. He was a way better cycler than I!
Trained with the cycling club at school.
Lessons & tips: Don't think about it, just sign up for something crazy like a 180-mile bike ride! A friend doing it, too, helps a LOT. Join a local cycling club. Cycle to school/work/grocery. Love your legs!

City riding is tough! Too many intersections. I managed 22 miles today. Next ride should be 50. This summer or fall I hope to make 100, but I don’t know where to go.
