Agent of Change needs to get started being who she is.
I have a single stalk of bamboo inside my front door. I got it three months ago, on an IKEA pilgrimage when I got my studio apartment. So far, it shows no signs of distress.

i don’t know if my orchid is still alive or not. the stem is unchanged since i clipped it. some of the leaves are plump and firm, others are yellow and limp. i’ve been irresponsible about watering it, but then again, not noticing a big difference between when i do and when i don’t.
it’s been some months and my Phalaenopsis orchid is still looking wonderful. I’ve added snapdragons, begonias, an azalea and a syzygium to my collection and they are all going great. i water them every night, without fail.
why do peopel do this to me? why do people keep getting me plants. HELLO, it’s a nice thought but do you see that i can barely keep myself alive? a coworker got me an outdoor supposedly needing to be planted plant. i rent, i own no ground to plant it in, so it’s just hanging on for dear life here in my cubicle. i think maybe for the plant’s well being i’ll have to try to find some adoptive parents to keep it alive.
