national debt & marijuanna 13 months ago

Here’s an idea,we need to clean up our national debt, legalize marijuanna, tax it and clean up our embarrasing debt!Add a few side laws to keep it from getting stupid, for instance make distribution a class d felony. You must be 21 to buy it,cultivation over 2 plants per household,is another felony,etc.,etc. these are just e few examples. Over all, the people in jail for marijuanna charges is only costing the tax payers more money! This is a way to generate money and save money, all at the same time. Ask the people! Do a nation wide survey! It’s really harmless,ABSOLUTELY less dangerous than alcohol!

I won in 1947, 16 years before I was born 18 months ago

In 1947, the Nobel Peace Prize was presented to all Quakers everywhere, represented by two organizations, the Friends Service Council in England, and the American Friends Service Committee in the US.

I only hope that others think of me as carrying on the good work.

    Inspiration 23 months ago

This isn’t really a goal of mine, just a hopeful side effect of my desire to influence the world. There are some people out there that deserve this award but will never receive it, and even if I am one such as those, truly my achievements are more valuable of a prize than any that can be handed to me.

I want to do this 2 years ago

Because is my dream to be able to succede in life and help humanity to find peace and live in harmony and happiness.

Not even nominated 2 years ago

Oh well, nobody even nominated me for this year’s shortlist. Might have more chance going for the prize for literature.

    Peace Out 3 years ago

I mean, I dont mind sharing the prize with a few billion others. It would be unfair to take all the glory. Wanna join me? Just be cool with people. We gotta live together. All men are sisters. Peace.

well, i've done this - if only via proxy 3 years ago

i worked at the iaea which as an organisation and its employees is a recepient of the nobel peace prize. have i contributed? well i spent almost 5 years of my life doing the best job i could, so be the judge ;-)

Well, they didn't notify me this week about the prize. . . 4 years ago

So I guess I’ll have to keep trying. ;) This goal may seem delusional, but research has shown that the higher you aim the more you achieve. People who believed they could become Supreme Court Justices reached higher professional levels than people who believed they could be a District Attorney, according to one study.
I don’t actually EXPECT to reach this goal, but putting it out there at least points me in the right direction.

Why NOT go for the REALLY lofty goals? 4 years ago

OK, so this one is VERY unlikely to end up in my “I’ve done this” category. But what I like about the goal is:

    • Even if I don’t reach the goal, it’ll probably help me do more powerful, far-reaching things.
    • It’s already helped me several times (more on that later).
    • It’s like “dreaming the impossible dream”.
    • What if 100,000 people had this goal? Do you think that a hundred thousand people could make positive strides towards Justice and world peace?
